The Fool tells the story of a childhood lived in an underground fortress, a hidden world of silence, protection, and quiet discovery. Within its walls, the narrator learns to observe before speaking, to feel before understanding, and to navigate a reality shaped by imagination, isolation, and wonder. It is in this sheltered space that he first becomes aware of his difference, his sensitivity, and the desires that quietly set him apart from those around him.
Through memory, innocence, and a gradual awakening of identity, he takes his first emotional steps toward becoming himself.
